Session locations

Cherry Creek, Denver

My newest session location obsession! This location photographs beautifully with a creek, mature trees, lamp posts, a sandy beach area, manicured grass and an urban dimension with beautiful flowers and a set of stairs. This little urban oasis is quiet and calm relative to the urban parks in the area. I find that this location offers the most session image variety with all of it’s different features in one place!

Indian Hills

My most coveted location for Denver maternity sessions or families desiring a mountain backdrop. This location offers the most variety for front range area maternity sessions. Situated west on 285 it offers cooler temps than the rest of the city, offers uneven terrain and may require proper footwear in the winter months. It’s just breathtaking and a beautiful way to commemorate the last few weeks before becoming parents. Parking is relatively close to shooting spaces, this location is for sessions shot in the sunset time frame.

Wash Park, Denver

A lovely Denver urban park vibe with lakes, cute lamp posts and grassy foliage, Wash Park has a special place in my heart, I fell in love with this neighborhood while living in Platt Park in 2019 and know this park and my favorite spots within like the back of my hand!

Cheeseman park, Denver

Cheeseman is one of my go-to winter, spring and summer spots as the architectural elements just make my heart happy while the foliage is lacking in the winter months. The flowers make this a favorite spot in the spring and summer months. This offers a more city vibe than the other parks in the area.

Golden

Clear creek in Golden wins my heart every summer and fall. The flowing water of the creek offer a lovely element to Denver maternity photos, family photo sessions and baby’s first birthday. I’d adore to take you for a walk creekside to enjoy the landscape and sounds of the flowing creek. This location does offer an uneven rocky terrain along the creek.

City park, Denver

Ahhh yes, my first Denver park romance. City park offers large trees, a lovely lake, a fountain, an iconic boathouse and is one of my go-to spring and fall spots as the seasonal foliage is the best!

Inspiration Point park, Denver

This lovely park offers such a dynamic landscape. In the summer, there’s a lovely bed of plants and flowers at the entrance of the park, feels of what you’d expect from a Denver park, a slight walk west brings us yellow foliage with flowers reminiscent of the mountains with pine trees and boulders, a bit further offers distant mountain views. A lovely dynamic duo. Perfect for families in the Berkley, Westminster, Arvada or Broomfield area.

MCCABEE TRAILHEAD, PARKER

My newest find thanks to the pandemic! This amaze little hidden gem offers a creek, bridge, wooden fence and grassy area for sitting. The terrain creekside is steep at points. Parking lot is right next to the trailhead. This location is often very quiet with little foot traffic.

If you have a location suggestion for consideration, I’m constantly seeking beautiful locations with great light, options for shade, mountain views, architecture, flowing water, upscale urban, texture and awesome sunset views.

NCAR, Boulder

Beautiful flatiron backdrop, tall grasses and tons of big rocks, this location offers a trail with all the pretty views perfect for Boulder Maternity sessions, family photos and beyond!
