I met the cutest five day old handsome Denver newborn babe this week! :) Isn’t he the sweetest thing?!

So much adorable cuteness. Mom and dad booked the Legacy session which includes naked babe shots and time outside of a swaddle. I don’t think he made a peep the entire session.

Denver Family Portraits | First Year Session

OMG it’s been such a total joy seeing this fam grow over the last two years! Teaser - there’s a few shots from their first year sessions at the bottom of this post! :)

Denver Newborn Photographer | Halfway thru 2022!

As I edit, I collect my favorite images into a folder that collects all the goodness from the year. Here’s what the first half of 2022 has brought my way. In chronological order! ;)

This Denver Lifestyle Newborn session was the very first session I edited in 2022. I shot it on New Year’s Eve!! There was so much creative energy flowing during this session. This crew had the cutest swaddles picked out - swaddles from my recommended list I offer each Denver Newborn Photo Client. They were so so sweet and a total joy to work with and I walked away from this session with a feeling of gratitude, appreciation and excitement to edit there images. I can feel it right now. Thrilled to see this crew again soon for their sitting milestone!

This new daddy shot just makes me feeeel the love this man has for this tiny new little nugget that will grow into his daughter. The beginning of a special father/daughter bond. The heart in the back is such a visual connection to really feeling the love love love this man has for his baby. I shot this fam’s Denver Maternity Photographer Session, they requested a Denver Mountain Maternity session and I loved seeing the blue shadowy hills bend behind them in the horizon.

A shot from the same session and a close up of that darn cute little Denver Newborn smile. GAH. I love the little curl of Mom’s hair on the bottom. I debated editing it away but I’m so glad I didn’t. Also, OMG this newborn bow headband is the cutest thing and it fits her perfectly! I absolutely recommend trying everything on baby before the session including newborn headbands! Finding a couple of headbands or hats that fit well makes such an impact in your Denver Newborn Photo session images.

My second time with this crew in green. Their nursery just made me happy and YES on this light fixture. I love seeing the nesting labors of my new Denver moms. This might be my most favorite thing about choosing a Denver Lifestyle Newborn approach. It’s endlessly personal and timeless in a sort of fabulous nostalgic way.

One of my all time fav studio maternity sessions. This couple was such a FUN and chill duo and I adored getting to celebrate their pregnancy with these intimate Denver Studio Maternity session images.

Never have I ever had so many people shout out well wishes to a mom to be than this sweet mama. I adored her energy, this fab color and seeing her a few weeks later as a brand new Denver mom!

Holy cute baby and adorable mom combo collab. I love sitting milestones and miss Ella was such a total joy. If you’d ask me what age is idea for baby photos outside the newborn stage, I would 100% without hesitation say 6-7 months. Once babe is sitting super confidently, safety and range of poses increase exponentially with these new super fun to document skills!

Another take on a sitting milestone session. I realize there’s not a lot of sitting being showcased in these images that ended up being my favs. LOL. An outdoor approach in the winter is daring but can be done! The little wear out FAST but the images are so lovely. This session is just 100% Colorado and I’m obsessed with their wardrobe selections. This sweet girl is actually months. This age timeframe can definitely offer some stranger danger vibes but this girl wasn’t shy at all.

I shot this total fox of a brand new lactation consultant who commissioned me to create some Denver Branding Photos for her and OMG we had so much fun! I think we went twice as long as she booked out of sheer excitement at what we were creating together. I was totally like, “let’s keep going” and totally adored our time together.

The gorg mama in the green dress. Can we talk about how gorgeous she is? This might be my favorite maternity image from 2022! The snow, the mom, her cute bump, her dress, her hair, her makeup all just make my Denver Maternity Photographer heart swoon hard!!! Side note I have a total crush on velvet. ;) OMG the dad jokes.

THIS MAMA RIGHT HERE. On the right. ;) A special woman indeed. She’s commissioned me countless times, referred me to her friends. She even sent me cookies! I adore her and I’m thankful to know her. Her newborn session is posted below! :)

OMG I nearly died when I shot this session with this sweet pup. The cuteness effect here is insane. Would you believe I have the exact dog collar for my dog?!

Talk about nearly dying from cuteness omg. This crew, their babe, their pup and their home were total swoon factor for me. Showing my dog obsession in full effect here.

This St. Patrick’s Day session was so much fun! Mom was gorgeous and this studio boudoir session just made my soul smile. We’re going chronologically here in the year, btw. LOL.

THIS FAMILY is so near and dear to my heart after meeting them for their maternity session for this sweet girl and then a series of sessions that have spanned her life as well as her little brother’s Denver Newborn Photo session. Love these faces so much!

All the dark walls please! I shot this and the following session one day apart. The kiddos in these fam are actually friends. Yay referrals! :) The greatest thing you can do for me and my business is refer and review. Thank you!

Give me Wash Park Denver Maternity Photo session at sunset any day of the week. I know this park like the back of my hand and have three favorite spots as options depending on the season. The hat on this goddess of a mama to be makes me smile.

Denver First Birthday Photographer

This girl. I thought i was in trouble for the first five minutes. A lot of this - I need to vet you before I smile for you- vibe. haha

But then the smiles came and the personality was unmistakeable. OMG THE CUTENESS!!!!

This little angel is going to be so darn cute. Dad gifted the session to his pregnant wife for Valentine’s Day and the baby arrived just a few days before Mother’s Day! Pretty thrilled that he booked a one year session, too. I can’t wait to see this nugget on her first birthday!
